Job board acquisitions – the list

It feels like job board acquisitions in the US are accelerating. The two primary buyers seem to be Jobing.com and onTargetJobs.com (see interview with oTJ founder and chairman) but other contenders may include Dice, JobServe and Jupiter Media. More recently, Internet Brands has entered the ring. Kennedy Information has also recently compiled a report entitled Mergers & Aquisition Dynamics for Employment Web Sites.

For those interested in European Job Board acquisitions, see Julian Stopp’s list.

Here’s the list:

Las Vegas — Greenspun Media Group (GMG) continues its growth with the acquisition of Recruiting Nevada, a local Internet company that publishes Nevada’s largest network of employment Web sites.

Interesting. You refer in your 2/27/08 post (Job Board Acquisitions – the list) to a report compiled by Kennedy Information entitled Mergers & Acquisition Dynamics for Employment Web Sites. I’d love to see that report. I’ve contacted Kennedy Information directly, but haven’t even heard back from them, let alone gotten the report. Do you have any advice as to other avenues I can pursue? Thanks.

**es** try contacting Peter Weddle at IAEWS…
