A decade of growth starts today

in job boards

recession over, economy to growThere is something about diversity that makes LatPro as a business track the economy almost perfectly – much better than most other job boards. We started feeling the effects of the recession not when it was announced but rather the moment it actually began and perhaps a full year before other job boards started suffering — not just this time but in the previous recession as well.

So based on a small rise in job counts (including partners) and a significant pickup in sales activity, I’m reasonably comfortable predicting that this month marks the beginning of the recovery and 10 years of growth to come. I expected a deeper recession and thought we would see more job boards failing. In the end, perhaps one of the redeeming features of a job board business is that they have a certain ability to hibernate…

If you made it this far, congratulations on surviving. The last year might be one you would like to forget. But hard times set you up for bigger successes. Now, let’s enjoy the ride!
